Since 2012 Mercante is bringing a cozy Italian trattoria atmosphere in the small alleys of the historical center of Beijing, near the Drum and Bell towers.

Recently awarded by the Daily Meal as one of the 10 Best Italian Restaurant outside Italy, Mercante is devoted to offer home style traditional Italian food in a small alley of the historical center of Beijing. In a cozy trattoria with only ten tables and a small terrace we propose a variety of homemade fresh pasta (tagliatelle, pappardelle, ravioli, tortelloni), imported Italian cheeses and cured meats paired with our daily baked bread and a selection of genuine homemade desserts (panna cotta, tiramisu, semifreddo). For the wine lovers we carefully selected around 50 labels of Italian wines and more recently some Italian craft beers.

Metro Line 8 - Stop Shichahai - Get out at the Northwest Exit, cross the main road called Di\'anmenwai Dajie and enter the small alley called Fangzhuangchang Hutong. Walk around 300 meters and we are on your right hand side. Total walking distance 350 meters. Metro Line 6 - Stop Nanluoguxiang - Get out at the Northwest Exit, walk north along Nanluoguxiang and then turn left in Shajing Hutong. At the end of Shajing Hutong turn right in Nanxiawazi Hutong and soon after left in Fangzhuanchang Hutong. Walk 30 meters and we are on your left hand side. Total walking distance 1Km.
