Malaysian Restaurant
Modern Malaysian cuisine & Lounge bar in the heart of the French Concession of Shanghai
Created in 2001, Cafe Sambal is a well-established and highly popular Malaysian restaurant. Repeatedly we have been named the “Best and Outstanding Malaysian restaurant” in many gourmet publication and awards. We have had also been the designated restaurant of 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Café Sambal Jiashan is an old loft house turned stylish restaurant & lounge, decorated with modern and antique furnishings, offering relaxed service and a modern authentic Malaysian menu.
Comprised of two floors with a spacious outdoor terrace on the 2nd floor and a rooftop garden, the restaurant seats more than 150 guests comfortably, with one waiting bar on the ground floor and an impressive full-sized bar on the upper floor. A stunning VIP long table and lounge table can be adjusted in length and size to cater for special dining groups, and two separate rooms on the ground floor provide a more personal and quiet space to enjoy our menu.
